Prodition

This film is a sequel to "Power of the Sith" and once again Tyler and Ryan are back in action.  This time they team up with Alec Mangum who plays Jedi Jaden Torr and together the 3 younglings set out to capture Darth Zorn, an assassin working for the Emperor. Zorn has only one thing on his mind... extinction of the Jedi! I'm really happy how this film came out and may be the last movie I make for a long time.  It was just way more work than I had anticipated and I need a long break from this kind of stuff to reconnect with my family.

The Newborn Uprising

In August of 2002, my wife and I gave birth to our 4th child, Jacob.  This short clip was Jacob's birth announcement edited to look like a trailer for a new Star Wars movie.   Basically, this was just an experiment in 3D animation and bluescreen keying in preparation for post-production work on "Prodition".  In fact, the asteroid and planet shown here are the same models I used in Prodition.

Han Solo: Switch Parody

This little ditty was inspired by those fun little Apple commercials where normal folks go on TV and tell everyone about how their lives were terrible until they bought a Macintosh computer.  I thought Han Solo would make an excellent spokesperson for the fruity computer company.  I was blessed yet again to see this clip get accepted into the 2003 Lucasfilm Fanfilm competition.

Power Of The Sith

This movie started as a Christmas present for my parents in Dec 2001.  I had no intention of releasing this movie on the internet or anything beyond burning it to DVD and mailing it to my folks.  Once I finished the film, I did put it online in some chatrooms at TheForce.net and I received alot of great compliments on the film and was encouraged to enter it in the first LucasFilm fanfilm competition in the Spring of 2002.  I had never heard of the contest but entered it anyways and was stunned to find out it had been accepted as one of 44 finalists.  We didn't win any awards, but it was an honor to take part in the contest and we even got mentioned in an hour long special that the SciFi channel did on the contest.  It was a real thrill to get a call from my Dad telling me he had just seen his grandson in a commercial for the SciFi channel special.  Basically, this film got me started in fanfilm making and gave me a passion for the creative process again- something I had been missing for several years.  It's not the greatest thing you'll ever see, but it was fun to make and hopefully you'll enjoy it too.

The Green Machine Man

This is the first movie I ever made.  I was a junior in high school back in 1988 and my best friends and I decided to make a cheesy slasher movie about a guy who kills teenagers with a weed-eater.  Not exactly quality film making, but the decapitation scene is quite gruesome.

Ty in Star Wars

This was my very first attempt at doing some special effects and video editing with my first editing system. The effects are awful, the Voice Overs are poor, and the overall quality is not something I am proud of, but seeing how hairy Princess Leia's arms are is quite stunning. Plus Tyler is really cute in this.
